Little One: 33 Weeks

 Here's the pregoness.

Stats/Facts of Little One:
This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds; (heft a little pineapple around) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. I'm going to add a little thank you to that. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

Our little pineapple? Let me just say how grateful I am that babies do not come out with hair like the stem of a pineapple. Ouch.

Obsessions/Rampages:
We bought the portacrib yesterday for baby boy's permanent bed for the months of April and May. That will be exciting to get on the doorstep. We'll have to do a little rearranging in the family room first so we can fit it. I have to remember to take a video tour of our little apartment before the baby bomb hits. Next on the list I think we're going to get the little things: bottles, diapers, wipes, etc. My dang back! Just the right side bothers me because that's where his little feet are ramming to the side around my ribs. Church was at titch uncomfortable yesterday.

Elations/Worries:
We're almost there! 6 more weeks! I have an appointment on Wednesday so I'm hoping that will go well. No worries though. I know he's growing, because I'm getting bigger. So that's a great thing. Ryan (Kyle's brother) and Mak had their baby last week and she's so cute! Naomi Reese. It was so fun seeing pictures of a little newborn and another addition to the family. It made us even more excited for sweet boy's arrival.

Aversions/Cravings:
Still hard to fit those hefty meals. Just munching on small snacks during the day. Today's choice was string cheese and a yogurt. Liquids are getting more on the craving side. Water with lemon, lemonade or juice. Ginger beer sounds good today. Maybe I'll indulge in a little purchase later.

See you next week!

Could you be any cuter? Maybe if you wrapped your belly with a little bow. But you're not having a girl, so I say that belt was a good choice. Seriously, you're darling. Almost there!!

Here's to Ginger beer! Love you bunches!

Your blog always asks for the weirdest code words to type in (to prove I'm not a robot). They're hard to read. I'm on my third try. Make that fourth.
